We are currently recruiting for a chef in a medium sized creche.
Must be HACCP certified prior to start date.
Job Description:
- Ensure kitchen is run efficiently daily
- To take day to day responsibility for meal preparation and planning
- Ensure stock levels of food are maintained and rotated in date order
- Food preparation & Management
- Ensure an excellent standard of hygiene
- Follow HACCP Food Safety Protocol at all times
- Attend meetings and undertake training as required
- Adhere to Child Protection Policy of the service and report any concerns
- Ensure all paperwork is up to date and accurate
- Effectively market and promote the company
- Maintain all records as required by Pobal and the HSE
- Represent the service during HSE and Pobal Inspections
- Be able to take charge and direct children in case of an emergency
- Maintain strict confidentiality, any breach of confidentiality about children or their families will constitute gross misconduct
- Perform any other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time

Pay: From €15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 per week

Early Years Room Assistant
Full Time Contract: Start July 2026
Ideal Candidates will have:
A minimum qualification of FETAC/QQI level 5 in Early Childhood Education.
A working knowledge of Síolta & Aistear.
- Must work well as part of a team
- Must be available to work rotation between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm
- Must have experience in planning and carrying out activities.
- Must have experience working with all age groups 2 – 12
- 1 year Experience in an early years setting desirable
