Vacancies

We are currently recruiting for a chef in a medium sized creche.
Must be HACCP certified prior to start date.

Job Description:

  • Ensure kitchen is run efficiently daily
  • To take day to day responsibility for meal preparation and planning
  • Ensure stock levels of food are maintained and rotated in date order
  • Food preparation & Management
  • Ensure an excellent standard of hygiene
  • Follow HACCP Food Safety Protocol at all times
  • Attend meetings and undertake training as required
  • Adhere to Child Protection Policy of the service and report any concerns
  • Ensure all paperwork is up to date and accurate
  • Effectively market and promote the company
  • Maintain all records as required by Pobal and the HSE
  • Represent the service during HSE and Pobal Inspections
  • Be able to take charge and direct children in case of an emergency
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, any breach of confidentiality about children or their families will constitute gross misconduct
  • Perform any other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: From €15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week

Early Years Room Assistant
Full Time Contract: Start July 2026

 

Ideal Candidates will have:

A minimum qualification of FETAC/QQI level 5 in Early Childhood Education.

A working knowledge of Síolta & Aistear.

  • Must work well as part of a team
  • Must be available to work rotation between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm
  • Must have experience in planning and carrying out activities.
  • Must have experience working with all age groups 2 – 12
  • 1 year Experience in an early years setting desirable
